Mill Processing

Wave Fibre Mill offers comprehensive services, processing raw fleece for small to mid-sized Canadian farms using toxic-free methods. From picking and washing through spinning and felting, we produce yarn, roving, top, felt, blankets and fabric.

Clothing

From “farm to fashion”, our wool clothing is made from 100% Ontario-grown wool, knit and woven from yarn spun here at the mill. We take pride in our processing techniques, our undyed and small batch natural dyed colour, the softness of hand and the durability of our garments. Designed to last generations, our clothing offers timeless quality and beauty, free from plastics and toxins.

Yarn & Textiles

Our yarn and textiles are from 100% pure fibre, sourced from sheep, Alpaca, and Mohair raised on small Ontario regenerative farms. Each breed offers its own unique qualities, whether it’s the fibre length, the “next-to-skin” softness, or the krimp, memory, and colour. Our yarn is free of artificial dyes and harmful chemicals, preserving its natural quality, purity and energy. Colour is from the natural colour of the fleece or small batch natural dyes, mainly from Ontario grown plant sources.

Our Story

“Wave Fibre Mill is more than a mill. It is a quiet revolution; spinning threads of hope, resilience and renewal, one garment at a time.”

We did a 2 day workshop on making wool moccasins. The ladies were just lovely. Not only about what we were doing, but about the entire wool process. They were very willing to inform us of anything we asked..

Exceptional! Most impressed by the forethought, vision & passion of the mill owner & family. Very informative & educational, from animal fibres to clothing. I found the machinary & processing of the raw wool to end product fascinating, definitely will return.

Recently visited the mill and met many of the employees. Thank you all for your commitment to local growers and producers. You are a welcome addition to the wool/fibre/fleece industry.
